I do things a bit differently.

Being photographed is an intimate experience. I believe that fostering a connection is imperative. My style is heavily focused on provoking real moments. I want us to create together. Now… I can take beautiful images if you’re just wanting a photographer to show up and get the typical, posed, smiling “perfect looking” shots, but my favorite moments happen in the spaces in-between. The goosebumps. The stolen glance. The beaming grin. The happy tears. The spontaneous giggles. The connection. The happily unplanned. Those are the shots you look at later that make you remember how it felt.

I want to focus on creating together rather than just 'getting photos done.' I stress the importance of connection because I make my best work for couples I consider friends. My main focus above all else is that my couples are having a good time, because how you FELT when we took those photos will be etched in how you feel about them forever.

Most of my subjects show up uneasy saying “Sorry, we’re awkward and hate getting our photo taken”, and by the end they can’t believe how fun and easy it was.

So, if you’re willing… I might make you run though a field, splash in the lake, stare into each others eyes till-you-bust-out-laughing or play tug-of-war and you’ll be blown away by the images we create.

You won’t realize it now while you’re so focused on centerpieces, and who’s sitting where, bridesmaid dresses, and florals— but photography is really the only thing from your big day that lasts beyond the wedding. The number one thing I hear from couples who didn’t prioritize photography on their wedding day is how much they regret it. Photographs are something that will only increase in value over time as the images get passed down the generations. If you’re shopping around just trying to find the cheapest deal, trust me, I’m not that. And that’s okay, because you deserve to have a photographer that will fit all of your wants and needs— including your budget. I’m passionate about capturing couples who believe in the value of meaningful, authentic photographs that will last a lifetime. Never underestimate the value of photography. Your wedding photographs will become family heirlooms.

Weddings

Wedding collections start at $3,200 and include a print release and at least 6 hours of coverage. We will work together to create a custom collection based on your needs and desires. Travel within Door County, WI is included.
